Who is it for?
Children from Key Stage 1 are our target audience. In this first key stage, the focus is on adding and subtracting numbers and counting.
How does it work?
The app is a perfect tool for children to enjoy at home or in class. It will help children to develop their number understanding, starting with addition and subtraction of numbers and counting, and then will move on to multiplication and division of numbers.

The app is based on a concept called ‘Subitising’. This concept is a way of counting numbers, and of recognizing numbers, without counting them. This concept has been studied for decades and is of great importance for learning number concepts.
What is Subitising?
Subitising is a skill which allows a child to recognize the number of items without counting them. A child subitises by just imagining a set of objects and then saying aloud the number of them.
The child counts objects (for example, “There are four apples in this bag”) and then submits the number of them (“Four”) aloud.
